Marshgate Fitness Challenge

Welcome to the Marshgate Fitness Challenge.


London Youth Games will be posting a fitness challenge each week for the duration of lockdown. (See the link below)


Children can submit their scores via their online learning platforms (Google Classroom or Seesaw). The scores of all the children in the Richmond Borough will be combined to compete against the other Boroughs in London.


On this page, we will also announce a weekly Marshgate individual and class winner for the fitness challenge and an overall winner at the end of lockdown. 


Remember, you can try the challenge as many times as you like and change your score each time. Last entry is Thursday at 6pm.


Mr Healy will be posting his effort each Wednesday. Can you beat him?

Week 1 Winners

Congratulations to 6A who were this week's winners of the Marshgate Fitness challenge. They were closely followed by Swan, 6M and 3H. Well done to everyone who took part. Who will win week 2?


Congratulations to Charlie Catley in 4B who got the highest score in the whole school. Well done Charlie.

Week 2 Winners

Well done again to 6A who for the second week in a row were Marshgate's Fittest Class. They were followed very very closely by Swan class in 2nd place with 3H coming in third. Well done to all who took part, your scores contribute towards the combined Richmond Borough Score in the London Youth Games Fitness Challenge. Well done all. 

Week 3 Winners

Amazingly, 6A have taken home the title for the third week running. Brilliant consistency from 6A. They are setting a wonderful example for the rest of the school. Special mention to Swan who finished 2nd and especially to Cygnet who finished third and have improved their score each week. Could next week be their week?

Week 4 Winners

Congratulations to Swan class. This week's winner of the Shuttle Runs challenge. Super running. 

They were closely followed by 3H in 2nd place and 4H in 3rd place. Well done to all in Marshgate who took part. The Richmond borough are currently 7th out of all London schools.
