I have recently been involved in starting up 'Marshgate Maestros', a new orchestra club at the school. I wanted to write in to say what a positive experience I have had working with the children. They have been impeccably behaved, enthusiastic and worked hard to learn their parts. It has been a huge pleasure teaching them and and we have had fun putting together a festive repertoire for this term. I can't wait to start next term's pieces.

I just wanted to let you know that my children enjoyed the Egyptian Mystery week very much. They were mesmerised and spoke at length about it yesterday. They think it was Mr Gerber pretending to be the mummy, but the opinions were very much divided. At times they were convinced it was the one that escaped out of the British Museum.  Well done to all who planned and worked on this event.  Year 3 parent

"The KS2 Christmas Carol concert this year was a wonderful production, very well organised and the children sang really well."  Mrs Phillips
"Thank you for the lovely photos from the Reception Nativity concert." Mrs Pearce

"Just a note to say how good it is to start up a computer group for year 4 and 5.  I work with several computer scientists who are passionate about getting computational thinking into schools and their enthusiasm is infectious!  It is also very good to know we're getting a computer specialist teacher in."  Dr Houston, Year 4 parent December 2014

Just to say that my daughter Rozalyn in Year 1 (Frog class), has been thoroughly enjoying the school meals.  The other day she said "The garlic bread was the best ever and the Lasagne was sooooooooooo delicious!".  She only elongates her 'so' when she has desserts, so it must have been very good indeed.  Please pass on our compliments to the staff.  Mrs Pereira.
