The School Council represents the views of all our pupils. They take on the views, opinions and suggestions on the children at Marshgate. It gives children the opportunity to make their voices heard and feel part of the whole school community.
The School Council's aim are:
1. Keep improving the school.
2. Take on board peoples opinions.
3. In charge of making sure children’s views are heard.
4. Help deal with problems.
5. To be a helping hand.
Every month the School Council discuss the information we have gathered from every class with the Year 4 teacher Miss Warwick at our School Council meetings.
They recently requested a pyjama day at school to raise money for the people affected by the hurricane in the Philippines. Represenatives from the School Council have also met with the School Governors.
