Meet our Staff

Mr Joshua Chamberlin is our current Interim Headteacher and has been at Marshgate since March this year. However, Mr Chamberlin will be leaving Marshgate as he takes up a new Headship closer to home. Ms Laura Brooks will join Marshgate from September 2025 as a part-time Interim Headteacher. Ms Brooks is currently Headteacher at the nearby Russell School Primary School and she will work across both schools, ably assisted by Mr John-Paul Gentry. We look forward to welcoming Ms Brooks to Marshgate.

Also in September there are two new teachers joining Marshgate, Miss Fitzmaurice in Frog class in Year 1 and Miss Achee in Swan class in Year 2. In addition, Miss Stilwell joins as a permanent member of staff and will continue to work as a Learning Support Practitioner in Reception year group. Two new Learning Support Practitioners have been appointed to start in September, Mrs Warungu and Ms Pollard in KS2.
